Exhibition Preface: The exhibition originates from Meiting's experiences of endless waiting and the tormenting feelings it brings to life. Unlike idly passing time, this sense of powerlessness stems from external constraints of time, events, and opportunities, which bind one's actions as if immobilized. Waiting for a red light, witnessing the growth of plants, and observing the transformation of muscles replacing fat - physical suffering requires tangible outcomes. Waiting for growth, for an end to the gunfire, for the reunion of loved ones – emotional torment yearns for an unknown resolution. The exhibited works include Riso illustrations printed by iiiPress and Meiting's photography, which convey a unique way of evoking emotions through her creations. Through showcasing Meiting's perspective, we aim to express the artist's imagination in daily life and the principles governing her unique world. Amidst powerlessness, people still hold onto love and the search for meaning. At the end of waiting, Meiting's creations express a unique mode of perception. Meiting prefers to discover issues through practical work, from hand-drawn sketches to the combination and composition of elements during the creative process. Through abundant references and accumulated inspiration, she seeks to express imagination in daily life while also presenting the order of the world.
